Cast: Shah Rukh Khan, Irrfan Khan, Lara Dutta, Om Puri, Asrani, Mohan Joshi, Rajpal Yadav

Director: Priyadarshan

'Billu' is  Priyadarshan's masterpiece. Irrfan, Lara and SRK rock in the movie. This is tale of relationships, friendship, and dignity .
Billu is a sweet movie with simple but strong story and it is full of entertainment. The last 30 minutes is most important and SRK steals the show with his terrific portrayal of the climax
The film is based on  Krishna-Sudama story. A poor village barber Billu(Irrfan) struggles to make two ends meet. But life completely changes for him when a film unit arrives to shoot a movie in his village and along with them comes superstar Sahir khan(SRK) who happens to be Billu's childhood friend. When the villagers learn about Billus childhood connection to Sahir, Billu becomes an instant celebrity in the village and almost suddenly billu is respected by each and everyone...
Billu is a complete family package and a very clean movie you can watch with the whole family. Songs are good, 3 item songs with deepika, priyanka and Kareena are fitted in smartly and their picturisation is also brilliant especially the SRK-Deepika’s Love Mera Hit number, and music is fantastic.
Although the movie was a bit slow in between and story is also a bit dragged, but all characters's were amazing.
Billu belongs to Irrfan Khan, he impresses as a barber and proves he is a natural actor. Shah Rukh is good as always and adds glamour to the movie. Lara as Billu's wife fits well in the deglam avatar.
The movie is a kind of a light comedy and Priyadarshans regulars – Rajpal Yadav, Asrani, Manoj Joshi and Rasika manage to make you laugh with some extremely funny scenes. The  best and the funniest scene is the guest house`s mangers police role where he keeps saying "Aata hai aata hai"
The film also ranks high on Emotional quotient which is preserved for the last 10 minutes  where shahrukh gives the speech, makes you cry. Last scene was tooo good.
This movie is really worth watching and definitely not a waste of money and you can certainly put this one on your list of 'watchable' films this year. My suggestion is you must watch it. Do you disagree with my review then leave your comments below
