Dry damaged Hair rescue with Dabur Vatika Coconut ++ Hair Oil

If you know me or read my blog closely you would know that I have dry, wavy and split end prone medium length hair. (Refer My letters to my hair here ) . Most Indian women desire long , thick and black tresses and I am no different. Long hair is chic and classy. That also means you get to experiment with various hair styles from fish tail braids to pull backs, buns to curls you can try them all.
I am not a fan of oiling my hair but i can’t deny that a coconut oil champi is the best way to bust stress and deep condition hair. I remember my Nani giving me Vatika oil hair massages when i was in school and then she braided my hair into two . Back then my hair was medium length, thick and black and thoughts of cutting my hair never occurred to me . I remember my class teacher in 7th standard had very long and dense beautiful hair which reached out waist length. I always envied her hair and wanted to grow my hair that long one day but it never happened!

These days short hairstyles are a rage with even Bollywood beauties joining the bandwagon. This summer Sonakshi Sinha, Nargis Fakhri, Anushka Sharma and Priyanka Chopra all opted for short hair cuts to get summer ready. Is long hair really that much of a problem in summer that people go on to chop them off?
This summer was really harsh even on my hair . Previously I used to go for a trim every 2 month all thanks to split ends but as if Split ends weren't enough my hair problems multiplied this summer and I ended up having to deal with sun baked, dull and rough hair. My hair was dry and it lacked volume . I badly needed to do something about it, my selfies were all coming out rugged and the dullness of my hair clearly showed in my photos.

Personally my hair is my most prize possession and I would never chop it off ! I have invested a lot of time and money on growing my tresses waist length . The best solution to tame my brittle and dry hair according to my sister is definitely a drastic cut off. The thought of seeing my long hair resting in the trash can of a salon makes me shudder. Soaring temperatures be damned I had to find a different solution to my hair problems and i loved my medium length tresses way too much to bid them adieu . My mom who has motivated me in growing my hair came to my rescue and suggested me to try Vatika Coconut hair oil . I have used this oil while in school and it is still trusted by both my granny and my mom so I decided to give it a try.
Dabur Vatika Enriched Coconut Hair Oil comes with triple power of Amla, Heena and lemon helping tackle a majority of hair problems like dandruff, split ends and hairfall . I have been using this oil for quite some time now and the results are already pretty good! I love how this oil is light and non- sticky. I, of course, need to thoroughly shampoo my hair (two times) to get rid of residue but the results are amazing. My hair now looks shiny, manageable and smooth! I am planning to do this thrice a week and I am already loving the whole cool and calming effect this routine is having on me! ☺
