Himalaya Herbals Nourishing Skin Cream Review

8:02 PM

I dont give much importance to my body skin care but in winters I am forced to moisturize my hands, legs along with my face and neck as skin gets very dry and flaky, begging for moisture and hydration. I have always used nivea soft cream on my body but the tub got over and i decided to try something different and so brought the Himalaya herbals nourishing skin cream.

Price and Quantity: 75 INR for 50 ml.

The cream comes packaged in a tub with a green screw cap . The cream itself is milky white with a semi thick consistency and the tub packaging is ideal since I use this in liberal quantities to moisturize my arms and legs.

Himalaya herbals nourishing skin cream has a nice light fragrance and does its job of moisturizing nicely leaving skin soft and supple. I used this at night in winters on my body especially on my elbow areas and it nourished the dry skin getting absorbed into it without feeling greasy or sticky.

I have tried this cream even on my face but it gets little greasy even on my dry facial skin so I avoid this practice . Anyway for the price being paid i think this is a winner of a product doing its job of moisturizing in winters. This cream can also be used in summers on alternate days.

Pros:
-Light fragrance
-moisturizes and hydrates well
-Travel friendly tight packaging
-easily available
-Affordable

Cons:
-Will not suit oily skinned beauties
-Has parabeans
- Unhygienic tub packaging (not an issue for me)

Rating: 4.5/5

Overall Himalaya herbals nourishing skin cream is a very budget friendly option to moisturize your hands and feet in winters.

    1. Parabeans are used to increase shelf life of a product and they are known to have health risks.. will do a post about it soon ...

  2. It doesn't look like it will suit my combination skin as you mentioned you found it little heavy even on your dry skin :) Loved the review :) I would skip it .

  3. It did not suit my combination skin much and gave me whiteheads, but it did suit my mom's normal skin quite beautifully :)
